Data Deletion Instructions

You can request deletion of your entire BIU (Boast It Up) account and associated personal information, or only information obtained from a specific Google, Search Console, YouTube, Meta, Facebook, or Instagram connection. You can also request deletion of personal information supplied in a scan, demo, or support request without having a BIU account.

You do not need to log in to BIU to start a request. Deleting BIU’s stored information does not delete your Google or Meta account, YouTube channel, videos, Facebook Page, Instagram content, or advertising account on the provider’s systems.

Email privacy@boastitup.com with the subject “BIU data deletion request”. If possible, send it from the email associated with your BIU account. Include that account email, your company or workspace if relevant, and whether you want to delete the whole account or only a specific connection’s data.

For a specific integration, identify the provider and the relevant account, channel, Page, ad account, or Search Console property so we can locate the information. Provide only what is needed to identify the records. Never include passwords, access tokens, payment details, or unnecessary identity documents.

We may ask you to confirm control of the account or your authority to act for the business before deleting information. If you no longer have access to the original email address, explain that in your request so we can discuss an alternative verification method.

For a shared business workspace, your authority and the rights of other workspace members may affect which records can be deleted. We will explain any information needed to verify or clarify your request.

For a whole-account request, we remove the account information and associated personal information that we hold for providing your BIU account, subject to applicable retention obligations. For an integration-only request, we remove that connection’s stored provider data, connection identifiers, and tokens that are no longer needed, and stop the associated data collection. Other BIU information remains unless you also ask to delete it.

Information to be removed may include stored profile or business-asset details, Search Console reports, YouTube channel and video data, Instagram media, comments or messages, and Meta advertising reports, where those records were collected for your connection. Deletion covers associated personal data in reports or derived records; provider restrictions also apply to derived data.

Limited records may have to be retained to meet a legal obligation, prevent fraud, or handle a dispute. We will explain any applicable exception and its basis. These exceptions do not override stricter provider deletion requirements. Removing information from BIU does not remove public information from third-party websites.

We handle requests under applicable law and platform requirements. We will contact you if we need more information and confirm when the request is completed, including any information that must be retained and why. You can reply to your request email to ask about its status.

For stored YouTube API data, a deletion request or account deletion requires removal as soon as possible and within 7 calendar days. Revocation of authorization through Google security settings requires removal of associated authorized YouTube data as soon as possible and within 30 calendar days. These are YouTube-specific limits, not a waiting period before deletion begins.

Open your Google account’s third-party connections, select BIU or BoastItUp, review the connection, and remove its access. You can also revoke YouTube access using Google security settings. Be sure you are using the Google account that authorized the connection.

Removing access stops future authorized access and may disable sign-in or connected features. It does not by itself close your BIU account. To request deletion of stored information as well, use the email instructions above; YouTube’s revocation-related deletion requirements still apply.

In Facebook settings, open Business integrations or Apps and websites, find BoastItUp or BIU, and remove the relevant connection. If you connected directly through Instagram, use Instagram’s Apps and websites settings. Business administrators may also need to review access to the relevant business assets in Meta Business settings.

Removing an integration stops its future authorized access but may leave information already held by BIU. Request deletion using the email instructions above. You can request deletion even if the integration has already been removed or your BIU login no longer works.
